AceShowbiz - Many were left shocked following rapper Nipsey Hussle's sudden passing after being gunned down in Los Angeles over the weekend. The shock was too huge that those beyond Nipsey's family and fellow musicians also paid tribute to the rapper. Snoop Dogg recently shared a screenshot of a text message from his mother in the wake of his friend's death.
The picture, which was posted on Snoop Dogg's Instagram account, saw Beverly Tate sending her son a message of hope. "Hello son I heard about your friend," she begun her text. "I pray right now in the name of Jesus that God will bless his soul and have mercy upon his parents."
"i know it's hurts that have left his parents numb.dear God You said Earth has no Sorrow that Heaven can not Healed.his. children needs You his friends needs you God give them some love Joy and peace.weeping may Endure. For a night but Joy will come in the Morning. thank You dear God Thank God Hallelujah Amen," the text continued.
Snoop was one of the many who were heavily affected by Nipsey's death. The rapper, who already lost one friend and collaborator Tupac Shakur, said in an emotional video, "It's f***ed up man. "I just want to send my prayers out to Nipsey Hussle, his family, to Lauren London and her family. This is f***ed up man. This is f***ed up. Prayers out to the whole family. This s**t got to stop, man."
Recently, Nipsey's sister shared her own tribute post for her brother, who died on March 31 at the age of 33. "You are my heart," Samantha Smith wrote alongside a snap of her and Nipsey. "You are my strength my wisdom my joy my balance. You are my Superhero. Invincible to me. I feel so safe with you. I feel so covered and protected. Imperfections do not exist with you because you are flawless. I need you I need you please let me hold you again. You are my baby. To the world you are the strongest man and to me you are the most vulnerable innocent child. Your heart is pure they don't know you like we know you."
She continued getting raw in the caption, writing, "Your love is expansive. Talk to me again. You've taught me so much. You hold me down through everything. I got Lauren. I got Emani. I got Kross [Emani and Kross are Nipsey's children]. I got Sam [Nipsey's brother], he is my responsibility now. He is my big little brother. I got mommy and Granny and Pop. You gave me so many tools. You gave me so much insight. We will talk every second of everyday and I am here to carry out your vision. Ermias God Will Rise. I love you forever and I will cry forever. You are my lifeline as long as I am here you are too."
Nipsey died after being shot on the head and torso outside his clothing line store, The Marathon Store. A man fitting suspect Eric Holder's description was taken into custody on Tuesday, and now a police spokesman has confirmed the cops have their man. Recent report claimed that Eric had his bail set at more than $7 million.
