AceShowbiz - Several actors from "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" have been confirmed to return for the upcoming sequel. Alex Wolff, Ser'Darius Blain, Madison Iseman and Morgan Turner will reprise their respective roles in the new Sony movie.

The four young actors portrayed the young version of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Kevin Hart. After being trapped in a mysterious game, Wolff's Spencer morphed into Johnson, Blain's Fridge shrinks into Kevin Hart, while Iseman's Bethany turned into Jack Black. Meanwhile, Turner's Martha transformed into Karen Gillan.

It remains to be seen how much their capacities will be in the sequel to the hit 2017 movie. The four will join newcomers Danny DeVito and Danny Glover. It was also reporeted that "Crazy Rich Asians" star Awkwafina was in final talks to join the cast. Details about her character are still kept tightly under wraps. However, the site states that she will be playing a "key" and "significant" character.

The planned sequel of "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" is said to be based on the picture book by Chris Van Allsburg. It will see Jake Kasdan returning as the director in addition to providing the script alongside Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. Matt Tolmach returns as producer with Kasdan and Seven Bucks' Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia producing.

Based on 1995 movie "Jumanji", "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" was a smash hit after being released on December 20, 2017. Also starring Nick Jonas, it made $962 million in worldwide market. The movie follows four teenagers who are transported into the video game world of Jumanji and play as their chosen characters. Johnson, Hart, Black and Gillan are expected to return for the sequel.
