The 12 cast members of the sophomore season are sent to 'Celebrity Power Pair' competition which sees them competing against each other in a team of two.

AceShowbiz - Season 2 of "Celebrity Big Brother" premiered on Monday, January 21. Featuring former communications director for President Donald Trump Anthony Scaramucci, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton among others, the new season kicked off with a drama over alliance.

Being frenemies, fellow reality TV stars Kandi and Tamar were in dilemma whether or not they had to form an alliance on the show. Meanwhile, track star Lolo Jones was worried that her housemates would automatically assume that she was aligned with fellow Olympian Ryan.

Host Julie Chen then warned the 12 new Houseguests to expect the unexpected. Fans of the CBS franchise would know that it indicated the show's first-ever "Celebrity Power Pair" competition. The Houseguests would be put in a team of two and one member in the winning team would be pointed as the season's first Head of Household.

However, when it comes to "Celebrity Big Brother", there's always a twist. While one member of the winning team would be honored as the first HoH, the other would automatically become the first nominee (and potential evictee) of Season 2.

The cast members then competed against each other in a series of games that involved rocking back and forth on giant swings in order to fill champagne glasses. At the end, Ryan and "Mean Girls" alum Jonathan Bennett's team was announced as the winner. The two would go against each other to get the title of the first Head of Household in the sophomore season, while the other might be evicted.

Fans won't be able to discover the final winner until next episode which will air on Tuesday at 8 P.M. on CBS.
