Having been a swimsuit model before becoming a mother of two, the wife of John Legend admits that she struggled to be happy with herself after seeing the physical change in her body.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen is on a "journey" to self-acceptance as she learns to embrace her post-baby body after realising she no longer has to maintain a "swimsuit model" figure anymore.
The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host and cookbook author began her career as a model, becoming a regular in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, and she even returned to the publication in early 2017, less than a year after welcoming her first child, daughter Luna, with husband John Legend.
Chrissy and John welcomed their son Miles last May (18), and this time around, the beauty isn't putting too much pressure on herself to shed her pregnancy pounds, because motherhood has made her more comfortable about her changing physique.
"I think, in a way, we've forgotten what a regular body looks like," she tells Good Housekeeping magazine. "There are people out there who are struggling and I'm struggling, and it's OK to come to terms with that being OK, to realise that it's gonna be a bit of a journey."
"Every morning when I look at myself in the mirror, I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, how did it get here? My baby was, like, four pounds and I gained, like, 60 pounds, and that seems off!'" she shares. "But, you know, I think everyone's body is just really different."
Chrissy, who suffered from postpartum depression after Luna's arrival, admits becoming a mum made her change her attitude towards weight, and she's focusing more on her general wellbeing than obsessing about the number on the scales.
"It's all about trying to be happy with myself," Teigen says. "Because I'm not blind: I see my body, I see the difference in shape, I see that I gained weight. But I also see with those same eyes that I have a beautiful baby boy, and this little girl that's relentless and amazing, and I am very happy."
"This is a new thing that I can change within my mind, that I don't have to be swimsuit model anymore. I get to be a mummy, and I get to cook, and I get to meet incredible people, and I'm happy to be going through this transition."

Chrissy's relationship with food has also changed through the years, and now she is keen to combine her more healthy eats with mood-lifting fitness sessions.
"I think now I understand that food is so emotional for me, so I need to realise that if I put good things in my body, I'm probably going to have a better day the next day," she continues. "Working out, to me, has never been about losing weight, it's always been a mood thing, and it always, always helps my mood. So to be able to get back in that routine would be great."
