A statement released by the International Touring Agency explains despite the organizers' effort, the 'All Eyez' rapper got denied of Temporary Residency Permit by the Canadian Government.

AceShowbiz - The Game has been forced to cancel his tour of Canada after officials refused him a visa.

The U.S. rapper's 13-date trek was due to begin in Vancouver on Saturday, January 12 but it will not go ahead after he failed to obtain a Temporary Residency Permit (TRP) that would have allowed him to perform in the country.

A statement on organisers, the International Touring Agency's Facebook page reads: "Due to circumstances beyond the artist, management, agency, and promoters' control, we regret to announce that " The Game Canadian Tour 2019 " is canceled due to the Canadian Government denying the artist's TRP application to enter legally into our country."

The Facebook post, which included an image of a letter informing the 39-year-old he had been denied a visa, went on to explain that organisers had made "every effort" to obtain the permit despite his past legal issues. The Game, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was reportedly barred from entering Canada in 2011 due to alleged gang ties. He pleaded no contest to a felony weapons charge in 2007 and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.

After hearing of the news on Wednesday, fans set up a petition asking the Canadian government to reconsider, which by the following afternoon had gained more than 175 signatures.
