AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z hit a milestone in 2018 as they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. To mark it, the power couple had a vow renewal last June which was kept a secret, until the "Crazy in Love" hitmaker shared her 2018 year-in-review video on Instagram.
In the video posted on January 1, the 37-year-old singer offered a quick glimpse of her stunning wedding dress. Galia Lahav then announced that the gown Beyonce wore at the intimate ceremony was from its "Victorian Affinity" collection known as the "Thelma".
Inspired by Queen Victoria's wedding dress, it features corseted bodice, Chantilly lace and the Victorian bustle train details on the gown. It also adds modern elements such as sheer cutouts, an off-the-shoulder neckline and Swarovski crystals and pearls adornments.
In a full-body shot of the couple, the mother of three was seen teaming up her beautiful white dress with a long veil and a pair of cool retro shades. Jay-Z, meanwhile, wore an all-white tuxedo, white sneakers and tiny sunglasses. The pair shared an embrace on a green field or a backyard.
In another blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment on the Instagram video, Beyonce and Jay-Z closed their eyes while putting their heads close to each other's. They were joined by their twin children, Sir and Rumi. Beyonce's mother Tina Lawson shared a screenshot of the footage and captioned it, "My babies [three heart emojis]."
Other moments captured in the video include footage from Beyonce and Jay-Z's "On the Run II Tour", a viral moment when their daughter Blue Ivy silenced her parents at the Grammy Awards last January and a clip of Bey and Blue Ivy singing together.
Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot on April 4, 2008. She wore a gown designed by her mom for the first ceremony, though she was not into it. Tina told "Today" in 2016, "She was so sweet to let me do that. She came back later one day and she said, 'You know, when my daughter gets married, I'm going to let her pick out her own dress.' Maybe she wasn't so excited about it at the time, but she's a sweetheart."
They hinted that they renewed their wedding vows with a glimpse of the couple wearing all-white attire while being joined by their three children at their "On the Run Tour II" kickoff show in June. Bey's dress wasn't fully revealed at the time.
