As most of their albums have sold more than a million copies, the nine-piece group is named 'quadruple million sellers' by the media.

AceShowbiz - Despite losing three of its original members, EXO still remains one of the biggest groups in the K-Pop industry. Most of their albums sold more than one million copies in addition to earning them numerous awards, including the biggest honor at several awards-giving event in South Korea. Due to their achievements, the nine-piece group is named "quadruple million sellers" by the media.

Their fourth studio album "The War" is an example of that. Making its way out in July 2017, the effort racked up over than a million units less than a month after its release. It additionally received the highest number of pre-orders for a K-Pop album with 800,000 units and made it to Billboard's list of Best K-Pop albums of the year.

With those amazing milestones, it's only natural for the album to win several awards. "The War" nabbed Album of the Year at 2017 MNET Asian Music Awards, Disc Bonsang at the 32nd Golden Disc Awards and Bonsang Award at the 27th Seoul Music Awards. Meanwhile, its lead single "Ko Ko Bop" won Best Male Dance at the 9th Melon Music Awards.

Not only in their native country, but the group is also well-loved in other countries such as Japan. Their first Japanese album, "Countdown", debuted at No. 1 on Oricon weekly chart with 89,000 units, following its release on January 31, 2018. It made them become the first non-Japanese group to have their album and single debut atop the chart as their debut Japanese single "Drop That" did the same in 2015.

Consisting the likes of Kai, D.O and Sehun, the group has recently made their comeback with "Love Shot", a repackaged album of their previous record "Don't Mess Up My Tempo". The former effort topped four domestic music charts in addition to ruling iTunes Albums charts in more than 55 countries such as the United States, Canada and Vietnam.
