'Bad Boys for Life' Finds Its Villain in Jacob Scipio

Set to portray Armando Armas in the third 'Bad Boys' movie, the 'Hunter Killer' actor joins the cast ensemble that includes Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and Paola Nunez.

AceShowbiz - Rising star Jacob Scipio has been cast as the main villain in the "Bad Boys" sequel.

The English actor, who has appeared in films "Hunter Killer" and "Strike", will star alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in "Bad Boys for Life", which Adil El Arbi is co-directing with Bilall Fallah. Scipio has signed on to play Armando Armas, the head of a drug cartel.

Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, and Charles Melton have also joined the movie and will portray members of a police unit, while actress Paola Nunez is set to portray the ex-girlfriend of Will Smith's character Mike Lowrey and a criminal psychologist named Rite.

The third installment of the highly-popular franchise is set for release in January, 2020. It will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and has been written by Peter Craig, Joe Carnahan, and Chris Bremmer.

According to Deadline, the film will begin production in Miami, Florida next month (January, 2019).
