The 'Justice League' actor is also tapped to star in the movie about a young girl who has to fight for her survival after being stranded with her dog in the Canadian wilderness.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck has signed on to produce and star in the big screen adaptation of "I Am Still Alive".

The "Justice League" star will play the father in the film about a teenage girl who has to move in with her dad, who lives off the grid in the Canadian wilderness, after her mother dies. The young girl's strength is tested after she becomes stranded with just her dog and has to fight for her survival.

According to Deadline, Affleck is finalising a deal to produce the project under his Pearl Street Films company.

Lori Evans Taylor will adapt the book, but it is unclear who will direct the movie. A release date has yet to be announced.
