During an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the former Victoria's Secret Angel also talks about her husband Tom Brady and her memoir 'Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life'.

AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen is adamant that she has no plans to retire.

The supermodel burst onto the scene after walking in Alexander McQueen's ready-to-wear show in spring 1998, and 20 years later, she is still one of the most famous faces in the fashion industry, showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

"I think I am the farthest I have ever been from retiring. I've never worked so hard in my life, actually," the 38-year-old shared during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday, December 12. "I think I'll retire only the day I die. Because I love working, I love creating, I think that's why we're here to keep creating and expanding and learning."

Though the Brazilian star has taken a step back from the catwalk, last walking during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she is still a regular on fashion magazine covers and even penned her own memoir "Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life".

The book was unveiled earlier this year and details the struggles she's faced in her life, including candid insights into her experiences of depression and past suicidal thoughts.

"There were lots of people I knew well that would come to me and share stories of people struggling with various different things, and I started writing letters to people that I'd never met," Gisele recalled of the inspiration behind the book. "The feedback I got was that it was very helpful to those people and I thought, you know, I just want to be able to share and maybe other people out there might find it helpful. So that was really the intention of the book."
