AceShowbiz - Model and TV personality Blac Chyna is facing criticism after choosing to endorse a skin lightening cream.
Rob Kardashian's 30-year-old ex is lending her star power to skin bleaching product Whitenicious X Blac Chyna Diamond Illuminating & Lightening Cream to help bosses make a killing in the market place.
According to TMZ, the serum is sold in a Swarovski crystal-studded jar and costs a whopping $250 (£200). The item is being marketing towards both men and women and is used to help with hyper-pigmentation and dark spot corrections.
Skin bleaching creams have gained popularity throughout the world, especially in South Asia and West Africa, with many critics finding fault with the product because it promotes a western standard of beauty.
Chyna took to Instagram on Monday to share an image of herself showing off what appears to be lighter skin. The post was met with a flood of responses from enraged followers, who found her latest venture insulting.
"White Chyna, God is it really that bad to be black?" asked one user, while another wrote "No offense but lightning (sic) of your skin does not look good on you. You looked 10 times prettier when you had your beautiful natural skin color".
That wasn't the only recent change to her looks - on Sunday, November 18, Chyna shared an image of her latest tattoo, a red ink illustration of 1988, the year she was born, on Instagram.
The star has also been busy with her cosmetics brand, which she launched last year (17). The brand offers highly pigmented lipsticks, enchanting eyelashes, and care items for various skin types.
