AceShowbiz - Almost two years after rumors of Zayn Malik and Nicki Minaj's collaboration surfaced online, fans finally get to listen to it in full. The musical collaborators unveiled their highly-anticipated joint track "No Candle No Light" on Thursday, November 15.

Co-written by the British singer himself, the tropical house banger talks about a relationship that has run its course. Kicking off with Nicki's signature "Young Money" catchphrase, she smoothly slides in her verses over pulsating synths and gleaming electronics, "Hand on your hand/ Chest on your chest/ Tangled in bed/ But I'm feeling you less."

It should be noted that Nicki barely raps on the song, mostly showing off her vocals as she continues harmonizing and trading lyrics with Zayn. Fans only get to hear her rap towards the end of the song, where she spits, "Switch up the lane, switch up the lane/ Watch how ya gya! Just switch up her lane/ This one here, it ah Nicki and Zayn, Zayn, seen?"

Considering that fans have been waiting for almost two years to hear the song, they are understandably get too excited over the track. "This s**t was totally worth AALLL the wait," one fan commented. "Nicki isn't even rapping AND MY WIG SNATCHED and zaddy Zayn never failed lol," one other praised both Nicki and Zayn.

Rumors of their collaboration first sparked in March 2017 after a Zayn song titled "TBC" featuring Nicki appeared on the playlist of Capital FM's website. One fan then claimed that she had already heard the song at a meet-and-greet for the release of his PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted single "Still Got Time".

"No Candle No Light" is among the new material from Zayn's upcoming sophomore album, which still doesn't have a title nor release date. The former One Direction member previously updated fans that he would be revealing further details of the album soon. "The label is holding me back but I promise I am doing everything I can to get my music to you," he said. "Thankyou... You will hear from me soon."
