The 'Real' co-host shares a heartbreaking quote while confirming that her niece Alaina Housley has been taken to her final resting place, a week after Thousand Oaks shooting.

AceShowbiz - A week after Thousand Oaks shooting incident, Tamera Mowry said her final goodbye to her late niece. The former 'Sister, Sister' star took to her Instagram account on Thursday, November 15 to share with the world that Alaina Housley has been laid to rest.

"Today we laid you to rest sweet angel," the 40-year-old actress wrote in a tribute post. "I'll miss you forever and your sweet smile. Until we meet again." Along with those heartfelt message, she uploaded a picture quote that gives her strengths on a challenging day. "Grief never ends... but it changes," the quote read. "It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith... It is a price of love."

Alaina was one of the 12 victims killed in a mass shooting that took place at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California on November 7. A day after the massacre, Tamera and her husband, Adam Housley, confirmed her niece's tragic passing through a joint statement. "Our hearts are broken," the couple admitted.

Of the 18-year-old whose life was cut short, Tamera and Adam shared, "Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in such manner. We thank everyone for your prayers and ask for privacy at this time."

Aside from the joint statement, the twin sister of Tia Mowry also made use of her Instagram to pay tribute to Alaina. Posting a photo of her late niece, she wrote, "My sweet, sweet Alaina. My heart breaks. I'm still in disbelief. It's not fair how you were taken and how soon you were taken from us. I was blessed to know you ever since you were 5. You stole my heart."

"I will miss our inside jokes, us serenading at the piano. Thank you for being patient with me learning how to braid your hair, and I will never forget our duet singing the national anthem at Napa's soccer game. I love you. I love you. I love you. You are gonna make one gorgeous angel. My heart and prayers are with every victim of this tragedy."
