Samuel L. Jackson's Elijah Price sets James McAvoy's Kevin Wendell free from a mental facility to carry out his evil agenda.

AceShowbiz - Universal Pictures has debuted a new trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's "Glass". Still centering on the three main characters, James McAvoy's Kevin Wendell Crumb a.k.a. The Horde, Samuel L. Jackson's frail-bodied evil mastermind Elijah Price / Mr. Glass and Bruce Willis' superpowered David Dunn, the video shows them confined in a mental facility.

The three are test subjects under the supervision of Sarah Paulson's Dr. Ellie Staple. Underestimating "the mastermind" a.k.a. Mr. Glass, Dr. Staple can't contain the situation when Elijah sets Crumb free and unleashes the Beast.

"Avenge us," so Elijah tells the Beast, as he challenges Dunn to live up to his title as a hero. "It has begun, David. I've found someone who will require your full potential," he says to Dunn. Now it's up to Dunn to stop the Beast from wreaking havoc and claiming more innocent victims.

The sequel to 2017's "Split", "Glass" finds Dunn pursuing Crumb's superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

"We get to spend some time with some new people that live inside Kevin," McAvoy previously said of what to expect in the upcoming film.

Shyamalan is back behind the lens and writes the script, in addition to serving as producer along with Jason Blum, Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock. Anya Taylor-Joy returns as Casey Cooke, who was kidnapped by Dunn and his other personalities in "Split". The movie additionally brings back Charlayne Woodard as Price's mom, and Spencer Treat Clark as Dunn's son. "[They] play a big role," Shyamalan says of the two characters who were previously featured in "Unbreakable".

"Glass" is set for a U.S. debut on January 18, 2019.
