In an Instagram video, the Hawaiian native can be seen eating his birthday cake while the British singer sings him 'Happy Birthday'.

AceShowbiz - Bruno Mars received special help when he celebrated his 33rd birthday on Tuesday, October 8. While backstage at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, the Grammy-winning musician made fellow singer Ed Sheeran serenade him.

In a video which he posted on Instagram, Bruno could be seen eating a birthday cake that was adorned with the letters that spell out his first name and five cupcakes. The camera later panned to the British singer who was strumming his acoustic guitar while singing "Happy Birthday".

He added a bit of twist when he hit the lyrics, "Happy birthday dear..." Instead of singing Bruno's name, Ed replaced it with, "Two-time Super Bowl performing Bruno." The birthday boy clearly looked pleased with the new version, clinking his glass and shouting, "Again!"

"You know you've made it when you can hire Ed Sheeran to sing you Happy Birthday," the "Just the Way You Are" hitmaker wrote in the caption, adding the hashtag #ExtraForever and #HappyBrunoMarsDay.

Bruno was in Nashville for a show of his "24K Magic Tour" final leg, which kicked off in September. Cardi B was supposed to accompany the Hawaiian native on the road, but she dropped out of the trek to focus on taking care of her daughter, Kulture.

After the female emcee announced her exit from the tour, Bruno responded, "Most important thing is you and your family's health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we'll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play 'Bodak Yellow' every night in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on 'The 24K Magic Tour'."

As a replacement for Cardi, Bruno has tapped Ciara, Charlie Wilson, Ella Mai and Boyz II Men to join him on the road. The tour will end on December 31 in Las Vegas.
