AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne's decision to delay "Tha Carter V" for years has finally paid off. The highly-anticipated album debuts atop Billboard 200, marking his fourth No. 1 effort on the chart. The set sold 480,000 equivalent album units, including 141,000 in traditional album sales, in the week ending October 4, according to Nielsen Music.

The set also registers the third-largest sales week for an album in 2018, following Drake's "Scorpion" (732,000 units) and Travis Scott (II)'s "Astroworld" (537,000). Additionally, the set earns the second-biggest streaming week ever posted by an album after racking up 325,000 SEA units, which translates to 433 million on-demand audio streams.

Trailing behind "Tha Carter V" is Logic's "YSIV" launches at No. 2 with 167,000 units, marking his fifth top 10 album. Another set which debuts on this week's chart is Cher's "Dancing Queen", which opens at No. 3 with 153,000 units. In addition, the set tallies the biggest sales week for a pop album by a woman in 2018 and the second-largest sales frame a pop set this year, following Justin Timberlake's "Man of the Woods".

Kevin Gates, on the other hand, scores his third top 10 album as "Luca Brasi 3" bows at No. 4 with 78,000 units. Drake's "Scorpion" dips one spot to No. 5 with 56,000 units, while Eminem's "Kamikaze" climbs down to No. 6 with 50,000 units. Travis' "Astroworld" slips to No. 7 with 49,000 as Post Malone's "Beerbongs & Bentleys" rises to No. 8 with 42,000 units.

At No. 9, late Tom Petty nabs his thirteenth top 10 album with "An American Treasure", which racked up 34,000 units in its first week of sales. Closing out this week's top 10 is XXXTentacion's "?", which reenters the chart at No. 10 with 32,000 units.

Twenty One Pilots' "Trench" and "A Star Is Born" soundtrack are expected to vie for the top spot on next week's Billboard 200 chart.
