The 'Rockstar' hitmaker's white Rolls-Royce Wraith crashed into another car and then smashed through a fence in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Post Malone was involved in a serious car accident in the early hours of Friday morning, September 7, just weeks after his airplane scare.

The "Rockstar" hitmaker's white Rolls-Royce Wraith crashed into a Kia and then smashed through a fence before coming to stop in some shrubs near Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles around 2.42 am, Sgt. Andrew Meyers of the Beverly Hills Police Department told Billboard.

The rapper's assistant was behind the wheel at the time of the incident. Post, who owns the vehicle, was in the passenger seat. They both walked away uninjured, according to pictures obtained by The Blast showing the star, real name Austin Richard Post, standing on the street smoking besides a police officer and a third man. Other snaps show the battered Rolls-Royce being towed away.

Meyers told Billboard that no official police report was taken because no injuries had been sustained, but noted that the car did cause damage to some city-owned property. However, a preliminary investigation took place and it was ruled no alcohol or drugs were involved.

The car accident comes just over two weeks after the star was caught up in a plane scare, and he acknowledged this in good humour on Twitter on Friday, joking, "god must hate me lol (laugh out loud)."

He was one of 16 passengers on board the Gulfstream Aerospace GLF-4, which took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and was en route to Luton, England, when two of the plane's tyres exploded, forcing the pilot to circle back and alert air traffic control officials that he would be performing an emergency landing near New York City.

"We took off and apparently there was a sensor in the back that flipped out, and we landed," he explained to TMZ.com shortly afterwards. "Then we took off again and we heard the tyre pop, and I don't know if it was smoke or whatever coming in... I was like, 's**t, this is not good at all'."
