AceShowbiz - Pennywise is back in new set photos of "It: Chapter 2". The terrifying clown, played by Bill Skarsgard, showed up in Port Hope's Memorial Park on Friday, August 31 as filming on the sequel to the 2017 horror hit is still underway.

Obtained by local news outlet Northumberland News, the pictures give first look at the evil clown's return. He is seen sitting on the shoulder of a giant Paul Bunyan statue that resides in the park. It's not clear if it's Skarsgard himself or a stunt double who was sporting the Pennywise makeup and clothes during the filming that day.

According to Northumberland News, the Third Act Productions crew will return in early September with multiple filming dates. They will reportedly film at locations including Walton Street, Bloomsgrove Street, Keene's Pharmacy, the Carlyle Hotel and Canadian Tire store, the Walton Street bridge and more. They will also film in the Robertson Street Bridge area between September 18th and the 21st, and then will head to Lakeland Place for a carnival sequence.

The "It" sequel will take place 27 years after the events in the first film. Besides Skarsgard, the child actors namely Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Jeremy Ray Taylor and Chosen Jacobs will return. Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Isaiah Mustafa are cast as the adult versions of Beverly, Bill, Richie, Ben, Eddie and Mike respectively.

The story follows the Losers' Club members, now adults, as they return to Derry, Maine to face the evil clown Pennywise once again, unaware that it has returned stronger than ever and has awaited their arrival, waiting to exact its wrathful vengeance upon them.

Andy Muschietti is back as the director, with Gary Dauberman writing the script once again. The movie is set for a September 6, 2019 release in the U.S.
