The movie will follow a man who is forced to to face up to his personal demons as he embarks on a mission to rescue a kidnapped Indian boy.

AceShowbiz - Chris Hemsworth is reuniting with his Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo for a new kidnap drama.

The action man, who portrays superhero Thor in the Marvel movies, has signed on to lead the cast of Dhaka, about a man forced to face up to his personal demons as he embarks on a mission to rescue a kidnapped Indian boy.

Joe Russo penned the script for the project, which he will produce with his brother for their AGBO production firm, in collaboration with Hemsworth for his new Thematic Entertainment company, reports Deadline.com.

The Russo brothers have also turned to another Marvel colleague to take charge of the film - Captain America Chris Evans' former stunt double, Sam Hargrave, marks his feature directorial debut with the movie, which premieres on streaming service Netflix.

Hargrave pulled off action sequences for Evans in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, before stepping up as a stunt co-ordinator on Captain America: Civil War.

He also worked with Hemsworth on Thor: Ragnarok last year (17), and was appointed as an additional second unit director on Infinity War.

Details regarding production and release dates have yet to be announced, but filming will take place in India and Thailand.
