AceShowbiz - Kyle Pavone, singer and keyboardist for metal rockers We Came as Romans, has died at the age of 28.

The sad news was announced in a statement by the band on their official Twitter account on Saturday, August 25.

"Today, music lost another great with the passing of Kyle Pavone of We Came as Romans. Kyle's tragic loss came too early in his life and those of his bandmates," it read.

"All are devastated by his passing. We will miss his smiles, his sincerity, his concern for others, and his impressive musical talent. In lieu of flowers, we will provide information regarding charity donations this coming week."

Kyle joined the metal group in 2008 and featured on all five of their albums.

No cause of death has yet been given.
