At the end of her 'God Is a Woman' performance, the pop princess invites her mother, grandmother and female cousin to the stage.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande brought special people with her when she took the stage at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. The Nickelodeon alum belted out her female empowerment anthem "God Is a Woman" off her new album "Sweetener".

Her performance opened with the singer delivering the first verse of the song in a "The Last Supper"-inspired set. Ditching her iconic high ponytail, she was joined by fifty female dancers who rocked regal costumes. Ariana herself sported a sparkling gold ensemble and thigh-high boots.

At the end of the performance, she invited her mother, grandmother and female cousin to the stage with her as they sing the last verse of the song. Her proud fiance, Pete Davidson, could be seen giving her a standing ovation after she finished her set.

After Ariana took the audience to medieval era, Travis Scott (II) brought them to outer space during his performance. DJ Khaled introduced his performance that night, saying "Young icon alert!" before Travis began singing "Astroworld" opening track "Stargazing". James Blake then made an appearance to sing his feature on "Stop Trying to Be God" as Travis prepared to deliver performance of "Sicko Mode".

Closing the award-giving show that night was Post Malone, who teamed up with an unlikely act, Aerosmith. The genre-crossing collaboration began with Post performing his 21 Savage-assisted song "Rockstar", which won Song of the Year. The rapper then strode over to the center stage where the rock band prepared to belt out "Dream On".

Channeling his hidden rocker spirit, Post grabbed a guitar and performed alongside Joe Perry and the other members of the band. They wrapped up their set with a rendition of "Toys in the Attic".

The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards took place at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on Monday, August 20. Camila Cabello came out as the biggest winner.
