The visuals follows the lives of a Mexican boy who is separated from his family at the U.S. border and a white American boy who lives comfortably with his family.

AceShowbiz - After unveiling a new single titled "One Day" featuring Ryan Teddler of OneRepublic, Logic has shared a music video for the song. While the visuals isn't as uplifting as the song itself, it shares powerful political message.

Released on Friday, August 17, the seven-minute music video was directed by Andy Hines and starred Michael Pena, Judy Reyes and Luis Guzman. It opens with a Hispanic family who attempts to enter the United States, but get caught by the patrol. At that point, a young boy has to be separated from his mother and baby sibling as they are taken into separate vehicles.

The young boy is then taken to an impoundment facility where immigrant children are trapped in cages, with the guards surrounding them. After spending his days there for a while, the young boy is then taken in by a foster home.

On the flip side, a family is seen enjoying a birthday party in Southern California. The young boy who celebrates his birthday is a white American boy who lives with his family comfortably. The boy is then showed Nazi regalia by his parents and his older sibling.

As the video progresses, viewers are treated to scenes where the two boys grow older. The Mexican boy flourishes academically, graduating college and later becoming a surgeon. Meanwhile, the American boy goes down a path of racism and becomes a White Nationalist.

In the final segment of the clip, the American boy accidentally stabs himself after he tries to attack a Black man at a bar. He is then rushed to a hospital, where he is treated by the Mexican boy. "You're going to be okay," the Mexican boy tells him before leaving the operating room.

"One Day" was released in July. It peaked at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Logic said of the song, "This one is for everyone out there with dreams and goals!! Making music is fun, but music with a message is more important!!! This one is for anyone with a dream."

Logic and Ryan are slated to perform the song at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, August 20.
