Daley Pearson, who plays the character, wishes the God of Thunder a happy birthday and claims his character survived the incident.

AceShowbiz - Thor's friend and roommate Darryl Jacobson is one of the survivors from Thanos' snap in "Avengers: Infinity War". Actor and TV series creator Daley Pearson, who portrays the character, took to his Twitter account on August 12 to announce that Darryl survived the incident. He also wished Thor a happy birthday.

"Happy Birthday @Thor. Sorry it's late but I'm working weekends since 'The Snap,' " Pearson tweeted. The tweet was posted along with a video of him working in an empty office. "Good news, Darryl survived the snap. Bad news, a lot of my co-workers didn't so I'm working on Sundays," he said in the footage.

"This video is to say happy birthday, Thor, however many thousands of years old you are. I hope you're having a good time out there in the universe," Pearson quipped. "And if there happens to be Wi-fi where you are, if you could just do a quick transfer, I'm in quite a bit of debt since you left. Happy birthday, Thor, I miss you and I hope you're having a good day."

Afterward, the Darryl depicter hilariously performed an off-key version of "Happy Birthday" song to celebrate Thor's birthday. Apparently, many Marvel fans were entertained by the post as it has garnered over 3,384 likes and 1,635 retweets.

Pearson previously made an appearance in Marvel's short video entitled "Team Thor" along with Thor depicter Chris Hemsworth. Directed by Taika Waititi, the video, which was published on August 28, 2016, explained why Thor didn't appear in "Captain America: Civil War" and ended up living with office worker Darryl in a flat. The short video also featured Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner a.k.a. Hulk visiting Thor during the latter's absence in the "Civil War" event.

In addition to Darryl, Marvel fans may recall that Black Widow, Hulk, Rocket Racoon, Nebula, Valkyrie, Captain America and Iron Man survived Thanos' snap in "Avengers: Infinity War". The story will continue in "Avengers 4" which is set to be unleashed in U.S. theaters on May 3, 2019.
