AceShowbiz - Just when fans thought they had to wait a little bit more to listen to Nicki Minaj's highly-anticipated album "Queen", the female emcee decided to surprise them by moving up the release date. She announced on Twitter on Thursday, August 9 that the effort would be released on August 10.

The female emcee announced the surprising news during the first episode of her radio show, "Queen Radio". She said, "So you guys, I'll be back at 8 A.M. and I'll play the album by 9 A.M. before the album is released noon Eastern, I was gonna play the album right now but someone f***ed up. It's a lot of corporate drama in here."

"Queen" will be her fourth studio album, following her 2014 effort "The Pinkprint". She previously said that the set would hit the stores on June 15 before delaying it to August 10. She later pushed it back again to August 17, prompting people to speculate that the rapper was feuding with Ariana Grande since "Sweetener" would be released on the same day. However, the best friends have denied the rumors.

In support of her album, Nicki will embark on a joint North American tour with Future called "NICKIHNDRXX Tour" with Tekashi69 a.k.a. 6ix9ine serving at the opening act. The trek will kick off on September 21 at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore and include stops in Chicago, Buffalo, Orlando and Memphis. The two rap stars will conclude the tour on November 24 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Besides hitting the road, Nicki will take the stage at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards from a surprise remote location in New York City. She is the latest act to be added in the performers list, joining Travis Scott (II), Post Malone, Logic and Shawn Mendes.
