The Irish singer's spokesman confirms the news, saying, 'I can confirm Una and Ben have separated and she's in Ireland with her mom and kids, but there will be no further comment to make.'

AceShowbiz - Irish singer Una Healy has split from her husband Ben Foden.

A spokeswoman for "The Saturdays" singer has confirmed reports suggesting she has ended her marriage to the England rugby player.

Una's spokeswoman said: "I can confirm Una and Ben have separated and she's in Ireland with her mum and kids, but there will be no further comment to make."

The couple shares daughter Aoife, six, and son Tadhg, three.

Una, 36, and Ben, 33, were days away from relocating to the U.S. with their two children, as Ben had signed up for Rugby United New York after ending his career with English club Northampton Saints.

It is understood the rugby player still plans on moving to the U.S., the newspaper reports.

A friend of the couple told The Sun newspaper that Una had recently become suspicious of her husband's behaviour.

"This week enough was enough and she just confronted him. She has now decided it's over. She's utterly heartbroken and devastated, but she's very traditional in her outlook," the friend told the newspaper.

Una and Ben wed in her native Ireland in 2012, after dating for four years.

Earlier this month, the singer shared a sweet snap of the couple on social media to celebrate her husband's birthday, and in June, they marked their sixth wedding anniversary with a shot of them celebrating while in New York.

Una recently revealed her and Ben had heated arguments, and that their marriage wasn't easy.

"If there's challenges we get through them together. There's children involved now and we just want them to be happy. We don't argue often but when we do they're heated, and Aoife hates it. She tells us off," she told The Sun.
