The 'Gummo' hitmaker reportedly tells different stories to his pals and cops about how the gunmen kidnapped him and took his jewelry, and how he got to escape.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Tekashi, also known as 6ix9ine, just had a harrowing experience with robbery. The Brooklyn-born star was kidnapped and robbed by gunmen on early Sunday, July 22 after filming a music video in Brooklyn.

TMZ reports that the "Gummo" hitmaker wrapped up the filming at around 4 A.M. and drove home. According to sources close to the rapper, when he got there, another car pulled up and blocked his driveway. Three hooded gunmen reportedly got out of the car, grabbed Tekashi and pistol whipped him, knocking him unconscious.

When he regained his consciousness, Tekashi reportedly found himself in the back seat of the car as the gunmen were driving around. They threatened to kill him if they didn't get jewelry and money. A short time later, the gunmen reportedly pulled up to Tekashi's home again. Two of them went inside and took around $750k worth of jewelry and around $20k in cash, while the other gunman guarded Tekashi inside the car. All this happened while Tekashi's baby mama and daughter were inside the house, but they're not hurt.

But the gunmen didn't let Tekashi go right away. They reportedly drove away with the 22-year-old star still in the back seat. At some point, Tekashi was able to open the back door and jump out of the car. One gunman chased him, but apparently got scared that he would be seen so he retreated.

Tekashi then reportedly asked for help from a stranger and jumped into the back seat. The stranger called 911, but asked him to get out of the car at an intersection. An ambulance came and Tekashi was taken to a hospital, where they performed various tests, including a CT scan. In a photo obtained by TMZ, the rapper was lying in a hospital bed with an apparent swollen eye.

The site, however, later reports that Tekashi told a different story to cops. Based on an interview with the rapper, law enforcement sources have got information that the star was kidnapped while a Chevy Tahoe he was in stopped at a Brooklyn intersection. The gunmen's car bumped his car from behind and two men with guns jumped out, stole the driver's iPhone and then grabbed Tekashi and dragged him into their car and sped away.

According to law enforcement sources, the gunmen drove Tekashi home and he called someone inside to come down with his jewelry. After the gunmen got what they asked for, Tekashi managed to escape and reported the incident to cops, but then became uncooperative. He checked himself into the hospital.

As for why Tekashi might tell different stories, he has bragged that people don't mess with him and it's obvious that the version he told his pals makes him look tougher than the version he told cops.

Whichever version is more accurate, Tekashi seems to be okay now after the incident. He has taken to Instagram Live to give fans update on his condition. "I'm just happy to get on Live and talk to my fans," he told fans. "I want y'all to know that I love y'all. And I'm just happy to be alive, know what I'm saying?"

He also flirted with Nicki Minaj, his collaborator on "Fefe". Tekashi wrote on Nicki's Instagram post promoting their new music video, "You still love me after I got beat up? :/" The "Anaconda" hitmaker has not responded to Tekashi's flirty comment.
