The 'Bodak Yellow' raptress says that she doesn't want to use basic names for her and Offset's newborn daughter.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B gave her newborn daughter a unique name which made her fans wonder why she would choose that name. The raptress then took to Twitter on July 11 to explain why she named her and Offset's bundle of joy Kulture Kiari Cephus. She claimed that the name was actually taken from her husband's real name.

The Migos rapper's real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, which proved that baby Kulture's middle and last names were taken from her father's. As for the first name, fans were curious if Cardi and Offset took the name from Migos' last two albums entitled "Culture" and "Culture II". The "I Like It" rapper explained that she didn't want to use common names for her baby.

"Kulture, anything else woulda been basic okrrrrr," she wrote on Twitter with love emojis.

"Cardi B's name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar and Offset's name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, they couldn't just name their baby Jennifer. I'm here for extra spicy, Hogwarts spell-a** names. Welcome to the world, Kulture!" a Twitter user agreed to Cardi and Offset's choice.

The decision to name their baby with the unique name was not spontaneous. In April, the Bronx native appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to discuss her pregnancy. She revealed that her husband was the one who came out with the idea for their baby's name. "My dude named the baby. I really like the name," she said. "I'm gonna let him say the name, because he named the baby. It's like almost tricky, but when it comes out, it's like 'Ah!' "

Ellen DeGeneres hilariously offered the "Bodak Yellow" songstress $20,000 to name the baby "Ellen." Cardi B seemed to think about it briefly. "Can I put it in the middle name?" she jokingly answered.

Kulture Kiari Cephus was born on July 10.
