AceShowbiz - Comedienne Amy Schumer has assured fans she isn't pregnant - but she is creating a fashion line.
The Trainwreck star grabbed headlines on Thursday morning, July 12 after posting an image of herself in a red tank top and skirt on Instagram, tagging costume designer Leesa Evans and writing: "@leesaevansstyle and i are cookin somethin Up (sic)".
Observers interpreted the newlywed's message as a pregnancy reveal, but Amy, who married chef Chris Fischer earlier this year after just a few months of dating, returned to social media to insist she was not with child.
"I am not pregnant," she shared in an Instagram video. "My friend said it looked like I was pointing to a bump or something, but I'm not. Leesa Evans (and I) have created a clothing line for all sizes and shapes at a chill price point. That was what I was trying to allude to, but thank you for thinking of my womb".
In the caption to her Instagram video footage, the I Feel Pretty star reminded fans that pregnancy rumours are constantly swirling around her, adding: "I always have a bump alert!".
The blonde star hasn't yet revealed any further details about her forthcoming clothing line, but fans can expect it to cater for all women as Amy has been an advocate of body positivity and fashion inclusivity for years, slamming Glamour magazine in 2016 for including her in a special 'plus-size' issue.
"I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size," she wrote on Instagram. "Beautiful healthy women. Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8. @glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn't feel right to me.
"Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous".
