AceShowbiz - Will Smith is planning to celebrate his 50th birthday in daredevil style by performing a bungee jump out of a helicopter.
The "I Am Legend" star was dared to perform the stunt months ago by the guys behind the Yes Theory adventure channel on YouTube, and after accepting the challenge, the two parties recently met for the first time in Budapest, Hungary, where Will is currently filming director Ang Lee's fantasy action Gemini Man.
During the visit, Will revealed they wouldn't be completing the heli-bungee jump just anywhere - they would be doing it over the Grand Canyon on his upcoming birthday.
He shared video footage of the announcement on Instagram on Sunday, July 8.
"I'm here with my Yes Theory squad...," Will began. "They challenged me to bungee jump out of a helicopter, so on September 25th, which is my birthday..., we have just gotten the official OK - we're gonna be bungee jumping on my birthday, over the Grand Canyon!
"This is the big one, it's the big 5-0, so we goin' for it, we goin' out big!"

While Will is excited to experience the adrenaline rush of the big birthday jump, his wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, recently admitted she wasn't thrilled at the idea.
"He got dared," she explained on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". "I'm like, 'Will, you're talking about jumping out of an airplane, and I'm supposed to be OK with this?'"
It won't be Will's first time throwing himself out of an aircraft - last year, he confronted his fear of heights by skydiving in Dubai, months after ticking bungee jumping off his bucket list at Victoria Falls in southern Africa.
