The One Direction member won Best Live Act at the award-giving show after defeating the 'Hello' songstress and the 'Perfect' hitmaker.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles has beaten out Adele, Ed Sheeran, and the Foo Fighters to claim the 2018 Silver Clef Award for Best Live Act.

Styles learned he was victorious following a public vote that was announced on Thursday, July 05, and he'll now join the likes of Roger Waters and Ellie Goulding among the prizewinners at the annual Silver Clef Awards ceremony in London later this year.

Harry, who received 60 per cent of the public vote, is already a double winner of the award, claiming it twice as a member of One Direction.

Meanwhile, Waters will be honoured with the Silver Clef Award, which is presented for outstanding contribution to music, Ellie has been named the recipient of the 2018 Best Female honour, and George Ezra will take home the Best Male trophy at the star-studded Grosvenor House ceremony.

Robert Plant will be handed the Outstanding Award, and this year's Icon Award will be claimed by Welsh rockers Stereophonics, while The Script have been named the recipients of the 2018 International Award, and Bastille have won the Best Group award.
