AceShowbiz - Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes may soon add not just one, but two new members to their little family. The couple is expecting twins, which are due later this year, according to OK! magazine (via HollywoodLife.com).
Neither the stars nor their representatives have confirmed the baby news, but the media outlet claims they are very excited about the impending arrival of the twins, a girl and a boy, which they have dubbed "miracle babies," after they reportedly struggled with IVF.
"They are over the moon," a source tells the magazine. "And with the news that they're having twins - a boy and a girl - it's just heaven. They're telling friends it's the miracle they never expected." The source goes on sharing, "They knew they may have some fertility issues given Eva's age, but they didn't realize just how difficult the IVF journey would be."
The so-called insider reveals how Ryan has been the source of support for Eva during their struggle to conceive again. "Even when Eva wanted to give up, Ryan kept saying, 'Just one more.' That's the one that took - and Eva's been thanking him ever since," the source dishes.
The excited pair reportedly have been discussing names for their unborn babies. "They're thinking Viviana for the girl and Carlos, after Eva's brother who passed away," so the source claims. "She'd like to honor his memory by naming her son after him, and Ryan is more than ok with that."
The couple, who has been together since September 2011 after they worked together on "The Place Beyond the Pines", has been notoriously private about their family. In fact, Eva was able to keep her second pregnancy a secret until weeks before she gave birth.
As for her latest pregnancy, the 44-year-old actress and the 37-year-old Canadian actor reportedly celebrated it with daughters Esmeralda, 3, and Amada, 2, on June 4. The pair were spotted taking their children to a restaurant that day, during which Eva was "covered up" in a green sweater as she held Amada close, possibly to hide her baby bump.
