The achievement makes the Canadian rapper surpass Michael Jackson to take second place in the list of male solo artists with the most cumulative weeks atop the chart.

AceShowbiz - Hip-hop star Drake has returned to the top of the U.S. singles chart with Nice for What.

The achievement earns the Canadian MC his 38th career week at number one, surpassing Michael Jackson to take second place in the list of male solo artists with the most cumulative weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.

They both trail Usher, who has 47 weeks under his belt, while Mariah Carey leads the list of all musicians with 79 weeks to date.

Nice for What's third stint in first place on the new Hot 100 forces Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign's Psycho down to second place, ahead of Cardi B, J Balvin, and Bad Bunny's I Like It, which holds steady at three.

Drake's God's Plan climbs one spot to four in the new countdown, while Maroon 5's Girls Like You, which also features Cardi B, slips to fifth place.
