Val and Jenna announce the good news on Instagram, sharing pictures of him getting down on one knee and presenting her with a ring.

AceShowbiz - Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson are engaged to get married. The 32-year-old Ukrainian-born dancer proposed to his girlfriend and fellow "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer during their trip to Italy.
The happy couple shared the exciting news on Thursday, June 14 on Instagram along with pictures from their romantic proposal. In one picture, Val got down on one knee while holding out a ring. Jenna looked surprised. In another photo, Jenna bent down to kiss her new fiance.
"I can't wait to make you my wife," he captioned the photos. Jenna, meanwhile, wrote along with the pictures, "I knew the moment I met you, you were the man of my dreams and I wanted to be with you forever. Babychka [My love] thank you for making my fairytale come true today! Cannot believe I get to call you my FIANCE!!!! #engaged."
Val tells PEOPLE about his new fiancee, "My life has changed because of [her.] And I find myself to be the best version of myself that I've ever been. She's awesome."
Val and Jenna dated on-and-off beginning in 2015, before breaking up in 2016. They reunited in July 2017, following his short romance with Amber Rose.
Back in May, Jenna opened up about their plans to get married and have kids in the future. "Absolutely. We have [talked about the next steps]," she told Us Weekly after winning season 26 of "DWTS" with partner Adam Rippon. "I think our past few months have been a little crazy ... So we kind of just discussed, 'Let's just get through these next few months and then we'll kind of figure it out.' "
The 24-year-old dancer also talked about Val being an uncle to his brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd's son, Shai. "You know, [Val] never grew up with kids. And so all of a sudden, this baby plops into their lives and he's like, 'What do I do?' But it's been awesome," she shared. "It's great to have training. He needs to learn how to change a diaper. That's going to be a for-sure thing. But it's so cute. He's such a good uncle and he loves [Shai] so much."
