Kyle Tessiero plans to sell a boat and a car so he can repay $100,000 as part of a deal.

AceShowbiz - Marc Anthony's former accountant has admitted to stealing more than $9 million (£6.7 million) from the Latin star in court on Monday, June 11.

Kyle Tessiero was hit with multiple charges of grand larceny in October for allegedly racking up millions in charges on the singer's American Express credit card and spending tens of thousands to fund an extravagant lifestyle between 2009 and 2017.

Tessiero appeared in a Manhattan court on Monday and copped to one count of grand larceny in exchange for up to nine years in prison as part of a plea agreement, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

Tessiero, who will never be able to repay what he stole, plans to sell a boat and a car so he can repay $100,000 (£75,000) as part of a deal, his lawyer Marc Agnifilo said.

Judge Laurie Peterson will decide to sentence the former accountant, who is free on bail, between two to nine years in prison when he returns to court on September 12.

Anthony, Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband, did not notice Tessiero had been stealing from him over the course of eight years as he allegedly hid the theft by using the singer's bank account to pay off the card.

Tessiero turned himself in after American Express officials questioned a suspicious purchase, his lawyer said.
