AceShowbiz - Reese Witherspoon is turning her online book club into an Audible affair.

The "Walk the Line" star launched "Reese's Book Club x Hello Sunshine" a few years ago to share her favourite female-centric stories with fans on Instagram, and now she has partnered with bosses at Amazon's audio book app Audible to highlight performances which are made to be listened to every month from June.

The new collaboration will also include original audio productions, created for her fans through her Hello Sunshine company.

Announcing her latest project on Tuesday, May 22, Reese explained she wanted to "expand our book club experience" by teaming up with Audible officials.

"When I started 'Reese's Book Club', I wanted to highlight stories with women at the center and I'm so excited to deliver on that mission," she shared. "With our busy lives, it can be hard to find the time to read. That's why I am excited to work with Audible to provide a fun way to listen to beautiful stories in your free time, whether it's enjoying a book in the car or on a morning walk."

Her most recent book club suggestion is Curtis Sittenfeld's "You Think It, I'll Say It: Stories", while she has optioned a number of her previous picks for film and TV, including "Wild", "Gone Girl", "Big Little Lies", and her forthcoming project, Celeste Ng's bestseller "Little Fires Everywhere", which will co-star Kerry Washington.

Witherspoon already has a little experience with audio books after narrating the recording of Harper Lee's final book, 2015's "Go Set a Watchman".
