Steven Chasman assures fans that the actor is 'completely fine,' saying, 'He's in great shape.'

AceShowbiz - Martial arts star Jet Li's manager has assured fans the actor is "fine" after he was photographed looking frail.

The 55-year-old "The Expendables" star recently posed for a photograph with a fan in Tibet and in the picture Li, who was sporting a shaved head and glasses, appeared older and thinner.

After the photograph was released on social media, many fans took to Twitter to voice their concerns about Jet's health, prompting his manager to assure them he is OK.

"We appreciate everyone's concern but Jet is completely fine," Steven Chasman tells USA Today. "There's nothing wrong with him. There's no life-threatening illness. He's in great shape."

Chasman also sent the website another picture of Li, who suffers from hormone condition hyperthyroidism and a heart condition, taken last week (ends May 18), insisting the fan photo was taken out of context.

"It's one picture and people are making these interpretations from it," he says. "If you took a picture of me at the wrong angle and wrong time of the day, I could look frail as well."

Li, who also has a history of leg and spinal injuries from stunt work, revealed all about his medical issues in 2013. He hasn't appeared in any films since 2016's "League of Gods", but he was recently cast as "The Emperor" in Disney's live-action adaptation of "Mulan", which will hit theatres in 2020.
