Dieter Addison insists he doesn't smoke marijuana and actually lives with a 'sober companion.'

AceShowbiz - The neighbor Hilary Duff named and shamed on Instagram on Tuesday, May 15, is planning to take the star to court. The "So Yesterday" singer accused Dieter Addison of smoking weed through the night and stinking up her home, and reached out to other "New Yorkers with a**hole neighbors" for advice.
She plastered her neighbor's name all over her Instagram Stories, stating, "My neighbor smokes cigarettes and weed all night long. My apartment reeks. Seriously, what do I do?"
Hilary also found Dieter‘s private Instagram account and shared her message there, but it seems the singer may have gone too far. Addison tells Page Six he is in the process of hiring lawyers to fight Duff, insisting he doesn't smoke marijuana and actually lives with a "sober companion."
The grandson of wealthy businessman H. Dieter Holterbosch tells the outlet he has received complaints about his cigarette smoking but insists he's free to smoke in his apartment. "I smoke a ton of cigarettes, don't get me wrong, but this is a smoking building, which is why I signed the lease here," he explains.
