Fans who can get through to the 'Pompeii' singer say that they receive updates on the band's long-awaited new album.

AceShowbiz - Bastille frontman Dan Smith is taking fans' calls on two phone numbers published on the band's website. The band shared their new single "Quarter Past Midnight" on Wednesday, May 09 and subsequently published two mystery phone numbers on their website.

In a section on the site titled "Call Me", two numbers are posted, one for callers in the U.K. and one for those in America. When WENN phoned the hotline it was busy, though a voice message from Dan was played. However, other devotees of the band have reported getting through to the "Pompeii" singer and receiving updates on their long awaited new album.

One fan, with the Twitter handle @breezybee719, wrote: "Dan answered my phone call. I am dying. ALSO, he PROMISED the album would be out before November...for those of you speculating. His exact words were, "that's f***ing ages away!" It was amazing."

Another failed to get through but posted, "i dont even know if this bastille phone thing works but i just left like 12 anxious/awkward messages because i didn't know if i was doing it right and it probably won't lead to anything but like whatever (sic)."

Bastille lovers have been waiting for new material from the band since the release of their second album "Wild World" in 2016.
