It's Reba McEntire who revealed the good news at the 2018 ACM Awards when Chris wasn't there to accept his Album of the Year award.

AceShowbiz - Chris Stapleton has a lot to celebrate these days. He and his wife Morgane Stapleton have welcomed not just one, but two bundles of joy. The country music star's wife recently gave birth to twin boys, their third and fourth child.

It's Reba McEntire who broke the news when she's hosting the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 15. Chris won Album of the Year for "From a Room: Volume 1", but he wasn't present to accept his trophy for.

Reba told the crowd why the "Broken Halos" singer couldn't make it to the show, "We just found out that those little rascals came a little bit early. Hot off the press! ... Twin boys." She added that Chris and his wife were home in Nashville with their newborn babies. Chris is also celebrating his 40th birthday today.

Soon after the announcement, the ACM Awards took to Twitter to congratulate Chris on his Album of the Year win and his new babies. "Congratulations to @ChrisStapleton who has won Album of the Year and just welcomed TWINS! #ACMawards," it tweeted.

Chris and Morgane, a singer-songwriter who co-wrote Carrie Underwood's 2006 single "Don't Forget to Remember Me", met when they were working at adjacent publishing houses and tied the knot in October 2007. They already have two children, a son and a daughter whose names are not revealed to public.

Morgane announced that they're expecting twins in October 2017 in an Instagram post which also marked their 10th wedding anniversary. "14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round," she wrote along with their black-and-white picture.

Later in December, Chris shared his reactions when he found out that Morgane was pregnant with twins. "I think I laughed for about 20 minutes straight when they told us. I was just shocked," he told "Today" anchor Willie Geist. "I didn't know what else to do. ... I was in shock. Shocked is the only word." Morgane added, "It wasn't a laugh, it was more like a giggle. He giggled for like 25 minutes."
