The 'Everyday' rapper notches the top spot of Billboard's Artist 100 chart after 10 songs off his new mixtape land a spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

AceShowbiz - Having unfortunate experiences as a child has made Logic determined to get a better life when he gets older. Using his life story as his inspiration to write music, he has become one of the influential rappers in the hip-hop industry.

The rapper just released a new mixtape entitled "Bobby Tarantino II", which debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart with 119,000 units. The effort, which serves as the sequel of "Bobby Tarantino", marked his second No. 1 album following his critically acclaimed album "Everybody".

The songs off the album received generally positive reviews from music critics. For instance, Aron A. of HotNewHipHop called lead single "44 more" a "proof of [Logic's] abilities as an emcee." He wrote, "The production bangs heavy throughout the track and Logic showcases his slick wordplay and versatile flows throughout."

Moreover, 10 songs off the album landed a spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, with Marshmello-assisted track "Everyday" placing highest at No. 29. As a result, Logic jumped from No. 40 to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, becoming the third rapper to lead the chart in 2018. He followed Drake and Eminem.

In support of the effort, Logic is currently gearing up for a tour called "Bobby Tarantino vs Everybody". The tour will kick off on June 8 in Boston and wrap up on August 3 in St. Louis. Fellow rappers NF and Kyle will be joining him on the road. Tickets went on sale to the general public on March 16.

Besides releasing the mixtape, Logic, who used to perform under the stage name Psychological, earned two nominations at the Grammy Awards for the first time, thanks to his mega hit "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. The song was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Music Video. The rapper was also nominated for Best New Pop Artist at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
