The former Playboy model, who allegedly had a sexual affair with the president in 2006, also expressed her remorse and apologized to Melania Trump in a new interview.

AceShowbiz - Karen McDougal details her first night having sex with now-President Donald Trump in first televised interview. Talking to CNN's Anderson Cooper on Thursday, March 22, the former Playboy model, who claimed she had an affair with Trump over a decade ago, shared that she cried after having sex with him.

"After we had been intimate, he tried to pay me, and I actually didn't know how to take that," McDougal spoke of Trump, who's already married to wife Melania Trump during the alleged affair in 2006. "I don't even know how to describe the look on my face. It must have been so sad."

McDougal, who recently sued American Media Inc. in order to be released from previous agreement, went on saying, "I had never been offered money like that before, number one, but number two, I thought does he think I'm in this for money, or why I'm here tonight, or is this a normal thing?"

"I didn't know, but I looked at him and I said, 'That's not me. I'm not that kind of girl.' And he said, 'Oh,' and he said, 'You're really special,' " the runner up of the sexiest Playmate of the 1990s after Pamela Anderson shared. "And I was like, 'Thank you.' "

McDougal explained that it hurt her a lot. "I left, I actually got into the car… and I started crying, I was really sad, it really hurt me, but I went back…" She continued sharing, "It hurt me that he saw me in that light, and he obviously assumed that was the kind of girl I was, maybe because I was a Playmate, I don't know… I was crying in the backseat of the car. Like I said, I got home, into my apartment and I cried a lot. I felt terrible about myself."

McDougal went emotional when she admitted that the affair was "a wrong thing to do." Holding back her tears, she told Cooper, "You know, going through it, when I look back, I know it's wrong. I'm really sorry for that. I know it's a wrong thing to do."

"But back in that day, … you know, I had fun, I was in the Playboy scene, I was just enjoying life as much as I could," she said, "When I got with him, there's a relationship there. There're real feelings between the two of us; not just myself, not just him." When asked if Trump had real feelings for her, McDougal said, "Of course he did. I know he did," adding that Trump, who told her that he "loved" her "all the time," would called her "baby" and "beautiful Karen."

As for Melania, McDougal confessed that she felt remorse towards her. "What can you say except, I'm sorry?" she said, "I'm sorry. I wouldn't want it done to me."

McDougal first met with the reality TV star-turned-president at a pool party at the Playboy Mansion in June 2006. Trump was at the Los Angeles mansion to film an episode of "The Apprentice".
