AceShowbiz - Donald Trump Jr. reportedly cheated on his wife, Vanessa Trump, with Aubrey O'Day. Multiple sources reveal to Us Weekly that the son of President Donald Trump met the former contestant of "The Celebrity Apprentice" on the set of the show's season 5 back in 2011.
"Things started up with Aubrey and Don Jr. toward the end of the taping," a source close to O'Day claims. Multiple sources add that the former Danity Kane band member and Don Jr. started their affair at the end of 2011 and had it continued until March 2012.
The source goes on saying, "When it started, they were very serious all of a sudden." The source adds, "He told her it was over with his wife, that they were separated and he didn't love her -- all of that stuff… Aubrey fell for him hard. She thought they were going to be together for real."
The pair ended their alleged affair after Vanessa, who filed for divorce from Don Jr. on March 15, found emails between her husband and O'Day. Vanessa and Don Jr. had three children, Kai, Donald Trump III and Tristan, during that time. Vanessa and Don Jr. reportedly reconciled before welcoming son Spence and daughter Chloe, 5 and 3 years old respectively.
Another report suggests that affair is not the only problem in Don Jr. and Vanessa's 12 years of marriage. Vanessa is divorcing Don Jr. because he allegedly "treats her like a second-class citizen" by keeping her on such a tight budget. Multiple sources tell Page Six that Vanessa had to turn to her mother for additional financial support.
"He gives her very little help and has been keeping her on a tight budget," a friend claims. "She doesn't live a lavish life and can very rarely pick up a check at dinner." Another source adds, "Don Jr. was never been generous with money. Vanessa has had to rely on her mother for financial help for her personal needs."
However, Vanessa's spokesperson denies the claims. "All of these claims are simply not true. Don and Vanessa have tremendous respect for each other and always have. The notion that she has had to rely on her family for assistance is absolutely false and utterly ridiculous," the rep says.
Don Jr. and Vanessa announced their separation a few days ago. "After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple said in a joint statement. "We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time."
