AceShowbiz - Tristan Thompson decided to throw an early birthday bash on Saturday, March 10. The basketball athlete celebrated his upcoming birthday at a private dinner party hosted by Remy Martin at the Beauty & Essex restaurant in Hollywood.
Guests included girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, who was accompanied by her best friend Jordyn Woods. Kourtney Kardashian also joined the private birthday bash along with her boyfriend Younes Bendjima. Momager Kris Jenner, meanwhile, showed up to the bash with her boyfriend Corey Gamble.
The group enjoyed an apple salad, oven braised chicken meatballs, filet mignon, Mexican street corn ravioli and Les, Nyc doughnuts for desserts at the party. After the guests finished eating, Khloe jumped on the mic to lead the group in singing "Happy Birthday". Tristan later thanked Remy for hosting the soiree and thanked everyone else for coming to celebrate with him. The Weeknd appeared towards the end of the party.
Ahead of his birthday party, Tristan attended his girlfriend's pink-themed baby shower. The event was held in the Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles. "The shower is very pink with thousands of pink flowers everywhere," a source told E! News, "including hundreds of stems hanging from the ceiling that create an amazing first impression as guests walk in."
During the party, the source revealed that everyone was "rubbing Khloe's belly" and she was "talking about how she is so ready and excited for the birth." The insider also noted that Khloe delivered a sweet speech and thanked everyone who came despite the rain.
Guests sipped on champagne with strawberries. They were also treated to an appetizer table with salads and hors d'oeuvres. During the shower, Kris gave a toast, saying, "We are here today to celebrate Khloe. On a lighter note, I was here almost 40 years ago almost to the day for my shower for my wedding shower to Robert Kardashian. I've also probably had a couple of baby showers. And a couple of wedding nights."
The insider noted that there were not any shower games, but all guests left with an Amazon Echo party favor. "Khloe had an amazing time at her shower, she seemed really happy and loved all the decorations!" the insider said.
