On Sunday, March 4, an orthodontist took to Tumblr to share an experience of his patient who broke her retainer while watching "Black Panther". The post read, "one of my patients came in for an emergency visit, because she snapped the wire on her retainer watching the movie when MBJ took his shirt off she clenched her teeth so f**king hard she snapped it. that is the f**king funniest s**t ever to me this tiny 17 year old girl thirsting so goddamn hard she busted steel."
The girl, Sophia Robb, initially did not know that the one who shared the post was her orthodontist because the post mentioned that the patient was 17 years old while she was 18. She even admitted that she wanted to make friends with the one mentioned in the post because they got similar experience.
However, after conducting small investigation, she then realized that the post was written by her orthodontist. She tweeted, "Wait. That girl is me. That is my orthodontist's tumblr. This is a post about me? I'm going to kill myself." She continued, "this is literally my orthodontist and he's the chillest person i have ever met even though he eXPOSED ME ON THE INTERNET."

When asked by Teen Vogue what she would do if the actor did reply, she said, "I would scream. The idea of him even seeing the post is so insane to me. I really do not know how I would respond. If anything, I would want to tell him and the rest of the cast thank you for their impact-not only are they all incredible actors, but this movie is so important in terms of representation that I think that's all I could say."
After the post went viral, MJB took a notice and responded to her tweet by saying, ".@pixyrue since I feel partly responsible for breaking your retainers let me know if I can replace them."
