AceShowbiz - Brandon Lee has released a statement regarding the physical altercation involving his father Tommy Lee that took place on Monday night, March 5. The son of the rocker and his ex-wife Pamela Anderson claims the fight stemmed from his father's alleged addiction to alcohol.
"I'm devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father's alcoholism," Brandon says in a statement to PEOPLE released via his rep Teal Cannaday. "I've worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it's incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition."
He adds, "I wanted my dad's hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations on social media, I feel forced to speak out. I have and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as needed. I love my father and just want to see him sober, happy and healthy."
Responding to Brandon's claim of alcoholism and intervention, Tommy has taken to Twitter to deny it. "LMAAAO!!! I'm happier than I've been in my entire life. I have a few drinks here & there because I'm f***in' retired and enjoying my life. I worked 30+ f***in' years I deserve it," he writes. "You didn't arrange any intervention, you barely spoke to me while u were here. Just coverin ur a**!!"

Meanwhile, according to an LASD official, Tommy and Brando had been arguing about a series of tweets Tommy had posted regarding Pamela's interview on "Piers Morgan's Life Stories" in the lead-up to the Monday fight. During the interview which aired on Sunday on ITV, the former "Baywatch" star discussed physical abuse she endured from Tommy during their relationship.
Tommy slammed his ex-wife on Twitter, "Think she'd find something new to discuss instead of rehashing old s**t but I guess she has nothing else going on & needs attention. Signed, 'The Abuser' (who she texts everyday & asks for me back)."

The drama between Tommy and Brandon has apparently affected Tommy and Pamela's other son and Brandon's younger brother Dylan. The 20-year-old took to Instagram Stories to share a still shot of the song he's listening to, LANY's song "Walk Away", adding a broken heart emoji on it.
As reported before, Tommy and Brandon had a tussle on Monday night that left the 55-year-old rocker with swollen and bloody lips. Cops were called to Tommy's house at around 10:49 P.M., but by the time authorities arrived, Brandon had left the scene.
The Motley Crue drummer then took to Twitter to share a photo of his injured face. He wrote along with it, "My heart is broken. You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you. Good job Brandon! Great son!" He later removed the post.
TMZ reported Brandon punched his father in defense when the rocker got drunk. Sharing his own side of the story, Tommy claimed, "Hey @TMZ maybe get your facts straight before you go reporting bulls**t. My fiancee and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me. I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT'S the truth."
