The 48-year-old blonde bombshell has reportedly agreed to do a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, following the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani could be the next A-list musician doing a residency in Las Vegas. According to a new report, the blonde bombshell has just agreed to do a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

The exciting news comes just a day after Gwen posted on Instagram a picture of her posing with Jennifer Lopez at the latter's residency. "@jlo your Vegas show was so good!" she captioned the pic, adding the hashtags #eyecandy #inspired #jennyfromtheblock #justagirlfromaheim.

A source tells Us Weekly that Gwen "went to the show last night to check out the venue she'll be playing. She was dancing the whole night!" Should the report be true, the "Hollaback Girl" songstress will follow Jennifer and Britney Spears' Planet Hollywood residencies.

Gwen isn't the only singer speculated to do a residency in Las Vegas. Mariah Carey is also reportedly planning to head back to Nevada for shows at The Venetian. Meanwhile, Lady GaGa will be kicking off her residency in December. The Mother Monster announced her Las Vegas residency late last year.

"The rumors are true! I will have my own residency at MGM's Park Theater," she tweeted along with pictures of her signing the deal. "Get ready for a brand new show!! It's been my lifelong dream to be a Las Vegas girl, I'm so overjoyed! LOVE YOU LITTLE MONSTERS WE DID IT, MEET ME IN Las Vegas!!"

During the press release, she revealed that she was "humbled to be a part of a historical line-up of performers," as big names such as Elvis Presley and Elton John had held their own residencies in the city.

"[I am humbled] to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before," she stated, adding that she would "leave my heart on the stage every single night. Thank you for my fans for always believing in me. Meet me in Las Vegas baby, we did it!"
