Lifetime's Meghan Markle and Prince Harry TV Movie Finds Its Will and Kate

Playing the Duke of Cambridge is Australian actor Burgess Abernethy, while Singapore-born, Vancouver-native Laura Mitchell has been tapped to play the Duchess of Cambridge Kate.

AceShowbiz - Lifetime's "Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story" is starting to take shape. The upcoming TV movie about Prince Harry and his future bride Meghan Markle has announced that it has found actors playing Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton alongside their two adorable children.

Playing Henry's older and the Duke of Cambridge is Australian actor Burgess Abernethy. Meanwhile, Singapore-born, Vancouver-native Laura Mitchell has been tapped to play the Duchess of Cambridge.

As for their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the upcoming TV movie cast Preston Karwat and Briella Weintraub. Karwat will take the role of 4-year-old George, while Weintraub will play 2-year-old Charlotte.

In a photo released by the network, the new cast members gather for a family portrait. Mitchell's Kate looks stunning in a pink dress, while Abernethy's William sports a black suit which he teams with a white shirt. Karwat's George looks adorable in a blue shirt and khaki pants. As for Weintraub's Charlotte, she looks cute in a peach sweater and an orange skirt. She has a pin on her hair, further adding resemblance to the young princess.

The four will join the lead actors Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser who play Meghan and Harry respectively. Fitz-Henley previously took to her Instagram account to share the first-look photo of the upcoming flick.

The photo saw the two getting cozy to each other while lying in bed. Fitz-Henley's Meghan sported a pink top, while Fraser's Harry seemed to be topless as he covered himself with a blanket. "Sweet Dreams to you. Love, #HarryandMeghan #ARoyalRomance @Lifetimetv #MurrayFraser Day 1 #gingerlove," Fitz-Henley captioned the snap, hinting that it's taken from the first day of filming.

"Harry & Meghan" follows the courtship and love story between the beloved prince and his new fiancee. The film will examine the history of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan's life as a divorced American actress.

Menhaj Huda ("The Royals") is serving behind the lens, while Scarlett Lacey is on board to provide the script. Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss ("Flowers in the Attic") are set to executive produce.
