AceShowbiz - Full winner list of BRIT Awards 2018 has been unveiled. Dua Lipa and Stormzy were dubbed the biggest winners at the annual event, which was hosted by Jack Whitehall at the O2 Arena in London on February 21. Both stars brought home two awards each.
Stormy took home British Male Solo Artist as well as British Album of the Year for his debut album "Gang Signs & Prayer". The rapper was emotional when he was named the winner of the categories, even falling to the ground after receiving British Album of the Year Award.
During his acceptance speech, he said he put "everything" into the effort, adding, "I've never worked on something like this in my life. We made something I feel that is undeniable, that I can stand by today." He also thanked God, his mother, his family and his team.
Meanwhile, Lipa nabbed Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown and Kylie Minogue presented the songstress' first award. Lipa said during her acceptance speech, "I want to thank every single female that has been on this stage before me and has given girls like me a place to be inspired by and [someone to] look up to and allow us to dream. Here's to more women on these stages, winning these awards and taking over the world."
Also at the event, Harry Styles won British Artist Video of the Year for his "Sign of the Times" music video. Lorde nabbed International Female Solo Artist, while Kendrick Lamar notched International Male Solo Artist, defeating the likes of Drake, Childish Gambino a.k.a. Donald Glover, Pink and Alicia Keys. On the other hand, Ed Sheeran, who dominated the nominee list, came home empty handed.
