Jamie Foxx Cuts Short ESPN Interview Over Question About Katie Holmes
Celebrity

The 'Baby Driver' actor walks off after the interviewer asks him about how he prepared for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game by playing basketball with his girlfriend on Valentine's Day.

AceShowbiz - Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes may no longer be afraid to be spotted together in public, but he's not ready to talk about their relationship publicly. The "Annie" star abruptly ended an interview on ESPN when asked about his rumored girlfriend.

Foxx was interviewed by Michael Smith of "SportsCenter" about how he prepared for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night, February 16. "I know you've prepared and I saw pictures. Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine's Day? Like some real 'Love & Basketball'?" Smith asked.

The 50-year-old tried to keep his cool despite visibly looking upset. He took off his headset and a crew member helped take off his mic before he walked away from the camera, without even acknowledging the question. Seemingly still in disbelief, the interviewer asked, "We lose him?"

Previously, photos surfaced on the internet of the alleged couple heading to a basketball court together on Valentine's Day. A source told ET that the Academy Award-winning actor picked Holmes up at her house on Wednesday afternoon.

Wearing a cream-colored hat, a striped sweater, a pair of jeans and sneakers, he was seen carrying a basketball and holding a big Nike bag. Holmes, meanwhile, donned a grey T-shirt, a flowery jacket, black leggings and a round hat while holding a pair of sports shoes. They were seen chatting and all smiles as they walked together.

Later, they walked back from the court after working up a sweat. Holmes ditched her jacket and hat while holding a water bottle. Foxx traded his sweater and jeans for a black T-shirt and short pants while still carrying the basketball equipment.

Foxx and Holmes, who were first rumored dating in 2013, were recently spotted at the Clive Davis and The Recording Academy's Pre-Grammy Gala in New York City. The pair, who never confirmed their relationship, sat together at the same table at the party.

The notoriously private couple showed rare PDA at the event. At one point, the "Logan Lucky" actress was seen whispering something into her rumored beau's ear. They reportedly stood up and danced along with other partygoers when Logic performed.
