The New England Patriots quarterback reportedly refuses to retire after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII, and his model wife completely supports his decision.

AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen shared a touching picture of her consoling her husband Tom Brady after his team the New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 4. In the image, the supermodel was seen hugging the quarterback who looked super emotional as he rested his head on her shoulder.

The Brazilian beauty also sincerely congratulated the Philadelphia Eagles for winning the Super Bowl. "Congratulations Eagles for winning the Super bowl, what a game that was! Congratulations Patriots for giving your best and to my love, we are incredibly proud of you because we are able to see ever day all the commitment, sacrifice and hard work that you have devoted to become the best in what you do. We love you!" she wrote in the caption.

Gisele reportedly consoled their kids, 8-year-old Benjamin Rein and 5-year-old Vivian Lake, and Tom's son John Edward Thomas Moynahan, 10, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, after the game. She was heard telling them, "You have to let someone else win sometimes."

"Daddy won five times," Gisele told the kids, according to USA Today. "They never won before. They haven't won in a million years." The Super Bowl LII win was the Eagles' first NFL title since 1960 and first-ever Super Bowl.

Gisele also congratulated the Eagles players in person. Yahoo Sports columnist Dan Wetzel tweeted on Sunday, "Gisele, walking a back hallway to leave the stadium, took time to personally congratulate every Eagles player she ran into. They looked star struck."

Following his team's loss, Tom reportedly refuses to retire despite being at an age where most players are ready to hang it up. "Tom is disappointed but motivated by the loss to get back there and win it again. This off-season he is going to remain healthy and not retire and not even think about retiring," a source tells HollywoodLife.com of the 40-year-old athlete.

And his model wife completely supports his decision. The source adds, "And to add to it all, Gisele is completely on board and wants him to play as long as he would like, they are both on the same wavelength with their decision-making. And we are going to see lots more of Tom, you can count on that!"

Another source similarly tells PEOPLE, "nobody really knows what's next for him now," but it's likely Brady won't be retiring. While the source notes that "Gisele always supports Tom no matter what," another source says that the 37-year-old model has "been telling friends for a couple years now that she would like him to retire and just be able to be at home, but he is so committed to the game."

Everybody thought Tom would retire last year after the 2017 Super Bowl win against Atlanta Falcons, but Tom shot down the rumors in a post-game interview with Sirius/XM radio. "If it was up to my wife, she would have me retire today," he said about Gisele. "She told me that last night three times. And I said, 'Too bad, babe, I'm having too much fun right now.' "

He went on sharing, "You know, I feel like I can still do it. If you love what you do and you're capable of doing it, then I might be so bored if I wasn't going out there knowing that I could still do it. So I'm going to work hard to be ready to go, and I still plan on playing for a long time."
